December Partner Morning
"Baby Blankets for Compassion Pregnancy"

Every three months our students meet with their partners – adults that help them, financially, to attend the school.  The partners come to the school four times each year so they can get to know the students personally.  It helps motivate students to talk with adults, other than their parents, who want them achieve excellence both in school and life.
Since our theme for the holiday season was “Giving Back to the Community”, as a class, we decided to give back by making baby blankets, that would be donated to Compassion Pregnancy.  This organization provides aid and support to new mothers and their babies, and we thought the blankets would help them start their new lives feeling warm and comfortable and, most importantly, loved.  All of the students, along with their partners, worked very hard to make sure the blankets were all made with tender loving care.
